WELCOME
Southern Missouri Regional Genetics Service is an
outreach program providing state-of- the-art genetics consultation
services, public and professional education in association with University
of Missouri Columbia Health Care.
Our mission is to educate and improve the quality of a family's health care
and well-being.
 Southern
Missouri Regional Genetics serve pregnant women, couples
planning a pregnancy, children with special health care needs and/or
learning problems, individuals and families with chromosome or genetic
conditions and women who have experienced recurrent pregnancy losses.
The medical genetics outreach team includes physicians who specialize in
genetic conditions, genetic counselors, a family nurse practitioner and
administrative staff. The team travels to Springfield
and Mountain View to provide
outreach services to 42 counties in Southern Missouri.
